AMI Materials

The Purdy R-II School District will implement a plan for alternative methods of instruction (AMI) to be used on days when school is closed due to exceptional or emergency circumstances, including but not limited to winter weather.  By implementing the Alternative Methods of Instruction plan, the Purdy R-II School District strives to continue student learning in an effective and efficient manner while maintaining the 2021-2022 school calendar.  This will prevent as much as possible additional school days being added to the end of the school year.  The goal of the plan is to embed learning activities focused on extending current lessons/topics, reinforcement of critical standards, enrichment activities, or support for skills that need further development.

In the event of a school closing, the district will communicate to parents/guardians what AMI materials are to be completed (AMI-Day 1, AMI-Day 2, etc.).  For grades, PK-6 paper packets have been sent home in advance and are also available on this site for download.  For grades 7-12 all materials will be made accessible to students through google classroom.  All work is to be returned to the appropriate classroom teacher once school is back in session.

Teachers will be accessible for questions, clarification, and feedback through email and/or Google Meet (Secondary) throughout the dismissed days.  General office hours for dismissed days will be 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  To access teachers via email, use the STAFF DIRECTORY.
